Starting Over

All I want to do right now is make short films/sketches & daily vlog, but since I don’t have a good vlogging cam, I’m going to stop vlogging like i currently do.

I liked doing it daily, but it wasn’t the right style for me. I want to show you what I do rather than lazy vlog and just say what I did without any edits. There’s no fun in that, for anyone.

What I’m going to do is concentrate on my new channel more, JamieRBProductions, to release more films and sketches which are a lot more fun to work on. I’ll try to vlog like I did back in January/Febuary, because they seemed to get a bigger reaction and they were a lot more fun to make and watch.

Maybe when I get a camera which is good to vlog with, I’ll get into a good style of daily vlogging, which would be more interesting than my lazy vlogs.

I’m having a Major re-think over my YouTube channel.

First off, I’m going to keep lazy vloging. I enjoy it, so I don’t see why I should stop. The good thing about lazy vloging is that it literally takes up none of my spare time. I can do it whenever/wherever I want and upload it there and then. Occasionally, when I have spare time I will go onto it monetise it and add annotations. This is also another reason why I’m going to keep lazy vloging.

But my in front of a camera, in my room vlogs/rants/reviews just don’t seem to work. I don’t enjoy doing them much any more, and they don’t seem to appeal as much towards my audience as much as my short films/sketches.

My Adeeb election video has 800 views (http://youtu.be/GXwqXrLfB4E) which is so much higher than everything else on my channel and I also had a lot of fun making it. So it just makes sense that I should make more videos like that (as in sketch/short film) rather than sitting in front of a camera moaning about things.

Basically this is my plan, whether it works or not is a totally different blog post. I will lazy vlog (maybe daily) and also make sketches/short films (maybe weekly or fortnightly) and that will be it. I think eventually when I get enough subscribers (if i get enough subscribers) I will spilt these two onto different channels like a pro YouTuber would do.

Lets hope this plan works out better than the last plan!
